Move Nepal
The Move Nepal Volunteer initiative is a venture of the Inclusion Empowerment Center of Nepal (www.iecnepal.org.np). The main goal of their daily work is to support local social projects with the input and help of volunteers, to give people with disabilities opportunities for volunteering abroad and to support IEC Nepal in more training for the visually impaired.
Their team has various experiences in volunteering abroad, intercultural exchange and volunteering with disabilities. Out of their own experiences in volunteering, they created detailed project information, which will help you to find the right project according to your interests, talents and skills. Their project partners are chosen by the need of support and have clear ideas about their goals for volunteers.With Move Nepal, they want to give projects and volunteers the chance to benefit from each other. One of their main goals is to achieve a win-win situation for both projects and their volunteers.
Move Nepal and IEC Nepal is managed by Khom Raj Sharma who has had various experiences in intercultural exchange and has worked with various NGOs. He understands the challenges of being visually impaired and strives to create a social change in the society.
The most beautiful reward a person can have while on an intercultural exchange is being able to leave their footprint once they are gone. This is done by making a dedicated effort while in your Nepalese community and by being a part of ideas and projects who’s roots will hold for future generations.
All of their profits are used to support IEC Nepal in training for the visually impaired and to empower their project partners!
