Ultralight aviation (also called microlight aviation) is the flying of lightweight, 1 or 2 seat fixed-wing aircraft. The aircraft is super-light and super-slow, significantly such as compared to the passenger airplanes and even the privately-owned small aircrafts. This results in the advantage that the aircraft has a slow landing speed and short landing roll in the event of an engine failure.
